My 20% time plan was to learn about wedding planning, my goal was to plan an event. During the process of finding out information and posting on our blog we had a few road block/technical difficulties. The School blocked Gmail, YouTube, Tumblr, and other websites my classmates and I needed to use. When everything got blocked we weren’t able to post on our blogs and some websites we got information from were blocked. I accomplished getting in touch with a wedding/event planner here locally, but I didn’t get the chance to start my goal. I think if we would’ve started earlier in the year I would’ve accomplished a lot more than I did. Although I didn’t accomplish everything I wanted, I still enjoyed the process. I enjoyed learning about wedding/event planning because I learned a lot of thing that I didn’t know. Planning a Wedding/event looks easy, but learning and getting your license seems to be a hard and long process. While learning about my 20% time I came across this inspirational quote, the person is unknown “The most successful event is the one that achieves your goals and exceeds your expectations.” Once I’m older I would like to start my own business and plan events for the community and celebrities. I plan to keep learning more about wedding/event planning on my own time to finish what I’ve started and reach my goal.

As a beginner you need to learn how to use your time frame wisely. Time will be an big impact on event planning. Make sure you're very specific with the times you're available for. Say that your client wants to plan an event for 12:00, you'll need to create a lunch budget.
I did a little research on event planning, I found out that you DO NOT have to be certified to become a event planner. If you're a beginner you can still learn the basics with out being certified.
My name is Gaisha, welcome to my blog. I've decided to do event planning. I've chose to do event planning because I can do this as a side job. I've also realized a lot of events are being planned throughout the years.
